Infernal Apostasy

The Infernal Apostasy were once Templars of the Shattered Mother, but they have divested themselves from the worship of the God-Empress and now pursue the Infernal Dogma — “the destruction of all humanity as the next step in their Empyreal Transcendence”

Led by Prophet Incendius, the Infernal Apostasy conducts its affairs and recruitment in the shadows of Mid-Atla. They are said to be agents of chaos, sowing destruction and strife to weaken the Archfactions against their next strike. Incendius himself is said to be deathless, eluding his demise time and time from Templar justice.

In battle, they send eldritch flame, infernal zealots, and monstrous thralls against those who oppose them. They are serial arsonists, setting buildings and farmlands aflame to cover their escape or as a form of retribution after their demise.

However, their methods of recruitment and their true plans remain a mystery.
