Pack Rat
Much maligned is the scavenger, the thief of corpses and the hoarder of trinkets. But all too often do townsfolk and trader turn to these individuals for the rare and the valuable. Pack Rats are good at taking and at running, but to assume that’s all they’re good at is to be an utter fool

Junker (Ranger): Quicker scavenging with some minor Tinkering
Runner (Ranger): Dodge attacks and flee from danger
Shadower (Ranger): Hide and disappear from view
Scholar (Counselor): Learn knowledge and teach it to others
Reader (Counselor): Discern details about another person
Tinker (Builder): repair and make skill kits; augment skill kits with gadgets
Chemist (Builder): Manipulates components; creates weaponized or healing Chem Vials
Naturally, The Junker and the Runner Discipline are central to most Pack Rat. “Swipe and flight” are a byword amongst these folk after all.
That said, many Pack Rats become learned individuals in their careers. They delve into crafting with the versatile trades of Tinker or Chemist. Alternatively, they crave more erudite fare, discerning secrets and keeping lores with Reader and Scholar Disciplines.
Itemization Advice: Pack Rats invest primarily in their own protection, though they stay away from heavy or ultraheavy armors. This means taking armor augments like Multiweave or even wearing Augmented Shields.
For craftier Pack Rats, augmented Skill Kits are a major boon, especially those that assist in their safety, help their exodus, or punish would-be thieves. In particular, the Smoke Belt and the Rocket Belt augments are of great use in this regard.
