Scrap Shaper

These individuals are lauded for their arcane versatility. Like the barber surgeons of old, villagers and townsfolk go to a Scrap Shaper with wounds, broken items, and crafting assistance. Scrap Shapers in warbands and fire teams perform similar functions, mending flesh and material with sorcerous ease.

Future Build Options:

  • Channeler (Arcanist): This discipline is about wielding magic and its honing thereof.

  • Transmutation (Arcanist): alter, damage, or repair physical items.

  • Detection (Arcanist): perceive things beyond your normal senses.

  • Infusion (Arcanist): shield individuals with energy or use those same energies to enhance items.

  • Scholar (Counselor): Learn knowledge and teach it to others

  • Tinker (Builder):  repair and make skill kits; augment skill kits with gadgets

Scrap Shapers will tend to focus on Transmutation and Channeler skills first, with an eye toward the Empowered Arcana skill. The Transmutation Sphere is a versatile one, with various options for support, crafting, and even attack (e.g. Transmute Air) -- delving into these magics often yields great dividends for a dedicated Arcanist.

Beyond these two, the Obfuscation and the Infusion Spheres tend to be useful for an experienced Scrap Shaper. They even have additional options for offense or for defense when it comes to combat. Outside of the battlefield, Scrap Shapers can look to the Weaver or the Scholar Disciplines to further their skillset. The former offers crafting and defensive options while the latter allows a Scrap Shaper to educate and shape minds.

Itemization Advice: Scrap Shapers may find it most useful to enhance their Animus Crowns, particularly with Runeweaver or Eldritchweave augments. As Channelers, it is also useful to set aside resources and Components for the Transmutation Adept Attunement or any other Adept Attunement that one may have.

Armor and Skill Kit are both useful options for a Scrap Shaper to invest their resources into. The Med Kit augment for a Herb Kit can enhance healing provided, while a plethora of Gadgets can be added to an Advanced Scrap Kit. Armor is Augmented much like an Animus Crown, though an Arcanist can choose to wear heavier armor for defense or go for lighter armor to enhance their spellcasting abilities.
