Wayfinders are Hunters and Runners, seeking the higher echelons of these Disciplines to better navigate the wilds. Indeed, at their apex, users of these Disciplines can find themselves nigh impervious to elusive prey or being pursued.

The Survivor and the Doctor Disciplines are also useful for Wayfinders, especially when dealing with allies or clients that need medical assistance -- an all too common occurrence in the hazardous wilderness.

Itemization Advice: Wayfinders tend to invest in defenses and in utility rather than weaponry. With Advanced armor and Herb Kits, these guides are better able to survive the wilds and help others in doing so. Advanced armor allows a Wayfarer to dodge even while wearing it and there are other benefits to such accoutrements, depending on the augments on the armor. Augmented Herb Kits, on the other hand, offer a plethora of options ranging in curative (Med Kit) or aggressive (Melter Vial) -- this is especially useful for those Wayfinders with greater medical or chemical abilities.

Of lesser priority but no less important is a decent set of weaponry. Wayfinders tend toward maintaining Advanced ranged weaponry due to the Control options associated with them. Melee weaponry and occasionally shields are of use as well, though few Wayfinders actually get anything more than basic varieties of these items.
